FOASPS meeting – African Federation of the Private Health Sector

On November 22, 2023, a long-planned, high-profile public relations visit was made to the African Private Health Sector Federation (AHF), in Kenya, by a FOASPS delegation constituted by President Dr. Joseph BOGUIFO, the Permanent Secretary Mr. Kofi KUMODZI and the Administrative and Financial Manager Mr. Théophile AGBOFOUN. During the visit, the FOASPS delegation met the AHF team under the leadership of its president Dr. Amit THAKKER

Strategic topics of common interest were discussed: the need for private sector organizations to maintain regular relations with governments, the need to conduct a diagnostic study on the private health sector to identify strengths and weaknesses , the importance of creating employment opportunities to retain health professionals in Africa, etc.
